IPL, vs Jake Hudson

Aw man, after dA-notification-system failures and illness-related setbacks I FINALLY FINISHED goshhhh.

Medb's Smokescreen leaves Hudson the Phantump scrambling to figure out where she got to. Jake finally spots her as she prepares to launch her signature Flare Blitz - a second too late to warn poor Hudson. 

I technically rejoined the IPL to try and push myself a bit with art things (not that you'd guess from the amount of WRITING BATTLES I've accepted, but hey WRITING BATTLES are fun yes yes), so here goes - all-digital piece, get! I'm new at this, still (IT PROBABLY SHOWS), because I tend to do sketching/lineart on paper before scanning for digital colouring. 

I've been working on this all evening and I have officially lost all ability to gauge how embarrassing this is - I know that Jake (the trainer) could do with more work, but hopefully the rest isn't too shabby.
